Onward is proud of our nearly 50-year history of developing, acquiring, managing and owning mixed-market affordable housing throughout Calgary.
Onward is working on new developments to provide affordable homes for those in greatest need. We work closely with all orders of government to make that happen.
Our neighbours are important stakeholders. We are committed to developing and maintaining strong relationships within our neighbourhoods and communities, and to providing a timely, open and transparent consultation process with all of the neighbours to our new developments.
We are excited to contribute to the vibrancy of the communities where our residents are currently living, as well as to those communities where we are building future homes for Calgarians in need of housing.
There is an immediate and growing demand for low-income and affordable housing across the city.

Currie 1 & 2
Onward's proposal for the site is a four storey multi-family apartment building on the north lot and a multi-unit townhouse complex on the south lot totalling 72 new units. Learn moreErlton

Onward's proposal for this site is an affordable housing building on a 0.4-hectare parcel within the community of Currie. Planning for this important project is just beginning to take shape. Learn more
Shaganappi
The Shaganappi development is proposed to be a five storey, multi-residential building with approximately 63 affordable housing units. Learn more
Franklin
Franklin Station will provide up to 350 housing units, ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments for seniors, families and individuals with challenges such as mobility. Learn more
